Rodi Garganico was in the past a greec settlement - Rodi = Rhodos - is a historical town of Gargano. This tipical mediterranean and fishers´ town situated on a limestone headland, saves its original medieval atmosphere untill these days. In the historical centre you can find a little streets with white stones´ houses. During your evening walks you can visit one of a lot of bars, restaurants or pizzerias. In Rodi Garganico is very nice beach where is possible to practise many watter sports.
Lido del Sole (Beach of the Sun) lie 3 km from Rodi Garganico and is created by various summer residences and appartments’ houses. Lido del Sole is more quiet than others towns of Gargano, right for a holiday without stress. It’s a tipical summer resort builds on the circular ground plan along the beach. In all resorts you can find bars, restaurants and pizzerias.
Rodi Garganico and Lido del Sole create “ gate “ of Gargano, from here the coast is full of caves and hills.
